City Hall - I had the good fortune of arriving at Philadelphia's City Hall just as Mayor Nutter was arriving. He took a few moments out of his busy schedule to listen to my story. I shared my card and a request that the City of Philadelphia make a proclamation for a Bone Marrow Donor Awareness Day.Broad StreetThe Hard Rock Cafe in Philadelphia shared lunch with me. They have a sign in every location that reads..."Love All, Serve All" I deeply appreciate their warm welcome and generosity. Many, many years ago I made Apple Pies for the first Hard Rock Cafe at Beverly Center. Downtown Philadelphia and City Hall from the Marriott, my host.

Angela & Frank. I met them at the Frankford Transportation Center as I begin my walk today. They asked me about how to join the registry after seeing the sign on my backpack. The Eagles are Division Champs so the city is getting ready for the game here in the Philadelphia area.Shannon, Jennifer and Patrick from Seafood Bay in Holmesburg, North East Philadelphia. Jennifer saw me walking by and recognized me from the news. She came out and invited me in for lunch.
