The Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's nationwide evening walk. Walkers carry illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate the lives touched by cancer. Funds raised will support our mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Anyone can take part—children, adults and seniors are all welcome. This is a casual Walk with no fitness requirements.

Dan donated his life giving cells 10 years ago.Casey from Ao Pi Sorority at UT. They are here in memory of a sister named Marla. Marla died in 2001 of leukemia. Their efforts are helping LLS to continue life saving research.Harrison is the 20th person to sign up tonight at UT Be The Match drive! I talked to Harrison the other day at UT Student Center.My Light the Night walking partner, Jessica. Her husband, Michael, has Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He's looking for a match. Jennifer & Sam. Sam's Mom had a bone marrow transplant 60 days ago. She's doing well, being treated at Vanderbilt.Rachael, Hannah and Reanon. Reanon was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in August. She is in treatment and doing well.Lori Friel, Campaign Coordinator, Light the Night Tennessee Chapter of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Lori and her staff organized a heartfelt and meaningful evening here at the University of Tennessee.Dan and Jeanette took me for dinner, following the drive, at Ruby Tuesdays. I met Topp there. He's going to tell our story to 2000 folks and ask them to vote for us in the Classy tomorrow!
